Purpose/Why: This camp gives students hands-on experience building their own video games across two platforms.
Cost: $10 Members / $15 Non-members
Activity Description: 3D Game Development (Struckd) – Campers will design and build their own 3D games using the Struckd platform. They’ll learn how to create environments, add characters, and implement game mechanics like objectives, obstacles, and scoring systems. The focus is on turning ideas into playable experiences while understanding the fundamentals of game design. • Roblox Studio – In the afternoon session, students will use Roblox Studio to create and customize their own games. They’ll explore map design, scripting basics, and interactive elements, gaining insight into how popular Roblox experiences are built. Campers will be able to test and share their creations with others by the end of the week.
