Who Is This Event Targeted to/for: Youth age 8-18 years old
Purpose/Why: This hands-on camp introduces youth to real-world survival and outdoor adventure skills through immersive, scenario-based activities. Campers develop resilience, situational awareness, and self-sufficiency while exploring the great outdoors in an instructor-led, team-focused environment. No prior experience required!
Cost: $10 members / $15 non-members per child for the week
Activity Description: Learn essential survival skills like shelter building, knot tying, tool use & water location ♦ Practice navigation using maps, compasses, and celestial landmarks ♦ Explore bushcraft, wilderness living, and Leave No Trace principles ♦ Develop first aid skills and emergency signaling and communication strategies ♦ Build critical thinking, teamwork, and resilience through problem-solving scenarios ♦ Discover potential career pathways in military, search and rescue, and wilderness services
